Technicom is seeking to hire Commercial HVAC service technicians and installers. The Commercial Service team diagnoses and solves HVAC problems efficiently, accurately, and thoroughly; performs repairs and maintenance on a variety of commercial HVAC equipment.

HVAC Service Technician/ Installer Duties:

1. Run service calls of various degrees of complexity and difficulty

2. Install, maintain, and repair Commercial HVAC and Refrigeration equipment.

3. Provide emergency services to the entire service area (when necessary)

4. Sell preventive maintenance contracts and system add-on items (when necessary)

5. Sell replacement systems (when necessary)

6. Maintain truck stock and inventory.

7. Follow truck maintenance schedule and keep an organized and clean truck/workspace.

HVAC Service Technician Qualifications:

1. 3 + years as an HVAC Service Technician.

2. EPA Certification required.

3. Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly.

4. Strong attention to detail.

5. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

6. Physical ability to lift 70 lbs. and perform typical tasks associated with servicing/installing heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.

7. Refrigeration experience (recommended).

Technicom Mechanical is seeking skilled Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems and commercial HVAC equipment. Refrigeration experience is a MUST.

Family owned and operated since 2003, Technicom Inc. provides commercial HVAC and refrigeration services to clients accross Northern Virginia, Maryland, and surrounding areas (NO WORK INSIDE D.C. EVER!!).

Refrigeration Service Technician Duties:

1. Run service calls of various degrees of complexity and difficulty; diagnose and troubleshoot issues with different types of refrigeration and commercial HVAC equipment.

2. Install various commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and display cases.

3. Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency of equipment.

4. Be part of an “on-call rotation” – provide emergency services to the entire service area

5. Sell replacement systems, preventive maintenance contracts (Commissions Paid).

6. Collaborate with team members and other departments to coordinate repairs and installations.

7. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.

Refrigeration Service Technician Qualifications:

1. 3+ years experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Technician.

2. Proficient knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls.

3. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

4. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

5. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

6. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform typical tasks associated with servicing/installing heating and cooling systems.

7. Refrigeration experience is a MUST.
